Seventh Age: Short i

In our current unit we are focusing on the short i sound. Above we highlighted the -ip, -in, and -it word families. By adding a beginning consonant we were able to create a list of words for each word family.

The follow-up activity was to play a loop game that focused on the short i sound. We listened carefully for our card, then read aloud to continue the loop.
