Short "u" Phoneme Substitution

Sixth Age readers did a fine job reading and building new words! We focused primarily on short "u" words. As I read the words aloud students needed to listen and discriminate the new sounds. Then, they needed to change certain letters to create a new word.

  • stuck
  • tuck
  • truck
  • luck
  • duck
  • dug
  • dig
  • rig
  • wig
