AMELIA BEDELIA
We had so much fun today as we read about all the silly situations Amelia Bedelia found herself in! Amelia takes everything literally. She is not able to put words into context and complete tasks correctly. When she is told to draw the curtains, she creates a picture of the curtains. Silly Amelia, she should have closed the curtains! When she is asked to change the towels, she does not replace them with new ones; instead she changes them buy cutting designs with scissors! Poor Amelia.
We work really hard in class to define new vocabulary and use words in the proper context. Maybe Amelia should come visit 7th Age reading one day to practice with us! What a great story. Thank you for sharing!
