Pilot mathematicians read the story, "One Little Egg". Then we made the number one using buttons. Next, we were able to work on creating the number pencil-to-paper.
At Calvert School, the educational journey begins with CURIOUS students, who, under the guidance of skilled teachers, MASTER the fundamentals, and grow into confident young adults with a defined sense of PURPOSE. This developmental arch represents the phases of a Calvert education.

I am so excited to begin the school year! I am looking forward to meeting all of my new 6B friends. In my previous years here at Calvert I have taught Pilot, as well as Small Groups. During my time as a Small Groups teacher I worked with Pilot, Sixth, and Seventh Age students in reading, math, and technology.
