Every Friday I hope to feature a student’s favorite story book with the class. This is a chance for the children to share their preferred literature with friends. Additionally, it serves as an opportunity to practice public speaking in a comfortable environment. I will have each child explain to the group what the story is about, why they enjoy the book, and what their favorite part is. I hope to read the entire book to the class if it is short. Otherwise, we will be able to fit just one chapter in. Today we had our first friend share their book. It was a really silly story and we loved reading it at the end of class. We had many laughs and are looking forward to next weeks story!
