We have really enjoyed working on forming the number eight! We started off on a large scale tracing the number with only our pointer finger. Then we transitioned to tracing with chalk. After this fun activity we were ready to sit back down at our tables and create the number eight in our workbook.
We discovered that the letter "S" is hiding inside the number eight! Making the letter "S" then connecting back up to the top really makes forming an eight much easier! Phew.
